Going to try to explain..lol

We have a reservation starting on Monday, Nov. 26 at Pop Century with 5 day park hopper tickets and free dining.

We may not be able to arrive until Tuesday Nov. 27. Will our tickets be activated on Monday, so that we will only have 4 days of use? I don't want to cancel Monday and lose FD. And then, if we can add a room only for Saturday, Dec. 1, will we still have that 5th day of park admission?

Told ya I was going to TRY to explain...lol Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can start using them on Tuesday and keep using them. They don't just lose a day based on checkin.

Once your tickets are activated, their use does not relate to the resort stay.

Any unused "days" will remain ready for use any time.
And, starting the first day you actually do use the first ticket day, you will have 14 days following to use any of the remaining days.

As mentioned your tickets don't start with the resort day, they start the first day you use or activate them.
Your FD should be OK as you are allotted so many free meals for the duration of the stay rather than so many meals per day. Not sure what will happen if you add the Saturday, if they will add FD for that day, if you can use your previous meals if you have any left by then or if your FD ends on that Friday. If you add the Saturday, I would call and get an official answer to clarify your FD.

Thanks for the help! Going to call them, but wanted to know beforehand. Sometimes getting answers from Disney is like pulling teeth :)

I had booked our resort before I booked flights, so when I got my act together to book air to/from I had to add an extra day. I was fully prepared to do it as room-only, but the CM on the phone was awesome, so got my reservation extended by 1 night so free dining applied...

If your check in date is the 26th and you don't check in before 6:00 a.m. (or whenever the computers roll around to the next day) on the 27th, you will probably be considered a no-show and your reservation could be cancelled.
