When do MVMCP tickets sell out?

I am fairly certain we will be attending WVMCP while at WDW 12.2.06 through 12.9.06. I am wondering when tickets start selling out? Are there certain days of the weeks/dates that tend to sell out more quickly than others? Do I need to buy them on May 1 or do I have some time? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

You'll have plenty of time. They don't sell out till the Fall. Usually, it's Fridays or the last party that sell out.

Thanks beattyfamily for the scoop! Saw your post on the MVMCP and had a question for you. We always go the first week in December and historically Mondays and Wednesdays have been nights without MVMCP. We usually go on that Monday so we can catch Wishes that night.

For 2006, do you think Sunday and Wednesday will be the nights when the park is open a bit later and Wishes takes place? I know it's hard to guess!

We have two young daughters (3 and 4) and like to do parks every other day. We were wanting to do MK one day, Epcot/MGM on day, and MVMCP. I was thinking MK on Monday, Epcot/MGM Wednesday and MVMCP on Thursday evening. Now I am not so sure of MK on Monday!

Any suggestions as to which days we should go where? We arrive 12.2.06 and leave 12.9.06. Thanks.

What I think will happen (since it seems the parties have moved to Mondays this year) is that Sundays are now the EMH night (which is why the parties are now on Monday this year) so it will stay open late and have Spectro and Wishes and will probably be a zoo. I also think that Wednesday will stay open till probably 9:00p and also have a Spectro/Wishes showing. I think this night won't be quite as crazy as Sunday night. EMH nights seem to attract more crowds.

I think Monday would be good for MK except that you won't get to see Wishes/Spectro that night.

So you are only doing parks Monday, Wed, Thurs night? What about the Saturdays?

Yes, it'sa wonderful problem to have!

I'm not sure if you know this or not but MVMCP will have Holidaywishes which are very different from regular Wishes. Also, no Spectromagic parade.

There's really no way not to do MK back to back. If you move the party to Monday and do MK Wednesday to see Wishes/Spectro you'd still do MK back to back.

My kids love Wishes and Spectro so we do always plan our days around it but yours are little ones so it might not be all that important.

Maybe you should just stick to your original plan; Monday MK, Wed Epcot/MGM and Thursday MVMCP. You will only miss Wishes/Spectro this way.
