When does the disney story and disneyshopping put out most of their Halloween costumes? I know there are a few out now, but didn't disneyshopping have a good sale last year before Halloween? My older DD needs new Cinderella and Snow White dresses as she is just about outgrown from her old ones and they can go to my little DD.
Thanks

I don't have an answer to your specific question but wanted you to know I saw Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella costumes at Walmart yesterday for $19.99. They were in the GIRL toy aisle with all the princess stuff. They also had shoes for Belle and Tinker Bell. Odd since they didn't have any of those costumes.

The quality appeared to be okay. Snow White had a hoop under the skirt and was very bright colors. They were very cute.

Thanks I'll check them out. I think that she'll want another "real" Disney one though as that is what her other one was. I wonder when they will have the sales? they still don't have all the costumes out yet. Of course, I guess I'm pushing it as it's only the end of July.

Last year I got mine during the code stacking mistake, which I believe was in mid- to late-August.

Last Year I kept watching both Disney direct and the Disney Store. They never went below 24.99 at our Disney store until after Halloween. I had bought Belle, SLeeping Beauty and the wedding cinderella and all acessories through Disney Direct when their costumes were 25% off , free shipping and $25 off $100 at the beginning of October and it never was beat until after Halloween. In fact, it was until mid November that our Disney Store finally put the costumes to $9.99!

I used to work at TDS...
Costumes are usually out in full force sometime in August (though they may not have a prominant role on the floor until September, depending on when they decide to do the floor set).

While there might be codes or such between August and September, the actual sale prices don't usually happen until September (usually mid-late Sept).

In October, prices will start dipping lower. Usually the week of Halloween, they will fall to 50% off (but there's no guarantees it will be the same time line every year)...and after Halloween they start to dip to 75% off (or more depending on the costume and its availability).
