When do I shell out the $$$

We're (hopefully) booking a June 6, 2011 wishes wedding on June 1st of this year (according to the new 16 month rule) once our date and location are confirmed when do I send them the cash? Its $2000 on the spot right? or do they send out a contract and you send the check back with that? how does it work? Enlighten me! lol

The deposit for a Wishes wedding is due when you send the LOA (contract) back to DFTW.

Then your minimum expenditure is due 90 before your wedding and final payment is due 30 days before.

Something to note when figuring out your payments is that $1000 of your deposit is held until after the wedding. So let's say your minimum is $10K and you put $2K down. 90 days prior you actually owe $9000(not 8) then 30days prior you pay whatever is over your minimum. If you don't use any of that extra $1000 (possibly going higher on drinks if you're doing BOC or something like that) then you'll get a check back.

That was news to me when figuring out our payments and I certainly would have liked to have known ahead of time!

THanks thats what I figured. I'm just trying to figure out how much of what we have saved i can spend on craft supplies for the invitations and still have the 2k left over!! lol

As for the whole $1000 in reserve thing. Thanks for reminding me! I did here that before but I had forgotten!
