When do I request a building at POP?

Do I request a building when I arrive or do I need to call? I don't want to pay for a preferred room, but I think we want to stay in the 70's building.

Call the resort directly about two weeks before. The resort dosen't actually get your reservation in their system until them, maybe even later then that. So try a couple of weeks before and they will tell you when to call back if it's to early.

Call now to have your request added to your reservation. It won't be guaranteed but it will be noted. 70's is great and close to everything except parking. It has a small lot. But otherwise we stay there or 50's.

Another thing if you don't like the room they give you don't be afraid to ask if something else is available. We were first given a lake view in 70's but I wanted to face the courtyard (big foosball area). CM was very nice and found a room on that side. This room was closer to everything than some of the preferred rooms.
