We plan on going in July of 2005. I realize that it will be hot and crowded, but we wanted to go for dd 2nd birthday. How early do I need to reserve a room. Her birthday is the 12. We will probably do a week. We will stay at a value resort.

Honestly I would book now... we are going Dec. 4th (off-season) and believe it or not, I booked our room January 1st of this year!!! Of course, I did call Disney reservations and modify my specs about 10 times, but I think just as long as you know you've got something where you want to stay, you're safe-July is peak time, so I would definitely figure out where you do want to stay and book a room to hold it-you only have to put down one night's deposit that is refundable provided you cancel well enough in advance!!
