When do I make my Magical Express reservation??

Quick question:

I recently posted about when I should book my flight. It seems as though I should wait, especially with Southwest's deals ( keeping my fingers crossed )

My question is, what is the deadline to make my Magical Express reservation?? Thanks

They ask you to book at least 10 days ahead, but I think that's to allow them processing time for your luggage tags. I made a very last minute trip in August....booked on a Friday morning for a trip the following Friday. I had no problem booking DME, but was told there was no way I would get my tags. Not an issue since I had only carryon. I would think that if you booked at least a month ahead you would be fine as far as getting those luggage tags.
