When do hotel rates open up for next year?

Sorry, I'm sure it's been asked before, but I'm new to this thread. I am wondering when we will be able to book for Oct. 09. I am at the beginning stages of planning a trip for next year and have already priced hotels for September, but I can't get any pricing for October. We are looking at staying on property. TIA!

I'm not positive, but I think it's approx. 6 months out. You may need to call as well, instead of relying on the website... in my experience, I was able to price and book when the Disney website showed no availablity.
