When do Halloween decorations go up???

We are planning on going next Aug 11-20. This is a week later than we normally go. Im sooooo hoping to see the Halloween decorations but thought they didnt go up until Sept. Last year we were there a week earlier and some of the stores displays started having Halloween stuff... hoping to see more!

I was there last year Aug 20-24 and they were just starting to put pumpkins and mums out but I didn't notice anything significant.

They already have the Halloween merchandise at the Emporium on Main Street.

We were there the last of August/first few days of September in 2013 and the decorations were going up before we left.

Decorations start early and then the bigger flip (with usually a week to finish them off) is the day after the previous season ends. In this case, summer ends on sept 7, so sept 8th should be a big change in MK.

You'll start to see lights for after halloween go up pretty early also, they had a lot up by end of sept last year but didn't "use them" until the day after halloween.
