When do Halloween decorations appear?

Hi. We will be making our first visit to Disneyland next year from August 7th for 6 nights. Coming from the UK and we would love to see Disneyland for the first time without the Halloween theming. What dates do the decorations normally start to go up?

September usually. Even though it seems to get earlier every few years, you definitely wont see Halloween decorations in early August.

Not until around Labor Day, or the first week of September-ish. Not really anything to see in August, you will have a normal park!

Only WDW starts them in August, typically around the 6-10th.

Yep, I live here and I hate going in the summer. I do it if people are in town, special occasion, etc. but otherwise, NOPE! Can't handle Halloween parties that early. The problem is, it's still pretty much that hot or close to it through September and October so I have a great solution! I fly to Disneyland for Oogie Boogie Bash instead! LMAO

I was there on Saturday and the decorations are going up. So, I would say that they start going up the third week of August and the Haunyed Mansion goes down. You will be fine for summer and normal Disney theming during your visit.

Thanks everyone! I was watching a vlog and noticed them and this was a recent one. We usually go to WDW in May and as a Brit we aren’t so hardcore into Halloween. We are doing Disneyland first before going to Orlando after so know the WDW Halloween stuff will all be up,

Haha sometimes October isn't much better, October 25, 2019 was a high of 98 degrees, two days later it was a high of 70.

Decorations are up…. The large Mickey pumpkin just went up overnight.
