I'd really like to get to a Dodgers game while we are in SoCal (7/30 - 8/3), but their website says single game tickets are not on sale yet.

Does anyone have any idea when tickets go on sale? They're playing the Cardinals while we're there. I'd guess that's a popular opponent and I'd feel terrible if the games sold out before I could attempt to place an order!

I too am waiting for this. I called before Christmas and got a really nice person on the Season Ticket line. At that point she told me the tickets usually go on sale around the beginning of March. I've been looking weekly upto now and will start looking daily very soon.

She also told me that the Dodgers usually do not sell out quickly, but have a lot of walk up last week sales. So the odds of getting once you want as soon as they go on sale are very good.

I'm going to bookbark this thread and as soon as I see or here anything, I'll post the information. I'd appreciate if you or anyone hears anything will do the same. Hopefully, amoung all of us we'll get the news as soon as it gets out.

Can you go to their website and send them an email from there?
I had the same question yesterday about Angels tickets and posted on the CB(never thought to post here...duh). I didnt get an answer but I finally contacted the Angels last night and within hours I got my answer. Its March 5th for the Angels if anyone is interested. ;)
We luck out and our Red Sox are playing the Angels on the 1 day we have to kill while in CA after our cruise. Since Sox tickets are next to impossible to get here (I spent hours on 3 phones and on line with no luck Saturday), Im hoping to luck out and get some for out there.

Thanks, I'll definately contact the Angels on March 5th! We alkso have the opportunity to see them play at home also the week we are there, however they are playing the Dodgers so I'm thinking we may have a problem. I'm thinking the Dodgers tickets will also go on sale the same time.

We saw the Red Sox play 5 years ago when the Mets were in Boston, really enjoyed out week-end in your city.

Here's a tip for those looking to attend a Dodgers game. If it's a day game you're going to, try and get the field seats behind 3rd base up to middle loge. It can get pretty warm in Dodger Stadium during the day. If you are attending an evening game, the seats won't matter but make sure you bring a jacket because even though it's the summer time, the temps drop in the evening...

Thanks, do you have any idea what kind of temps I can expect in general the last week of June?

Wow! Mary Anne, you're up late tonight! It's tough to say. In June, we have what's called "June Gloom". That's when it gets cloudy, even rainy, during the month of June. Weird, I know for a summer month out here. So, it's one of those things where you play it be ear. For the most part, we have pretty good warm weather during the day. So, get ready for that but be prepared for the worst! BTW, if you do plan on getting Dodgers tickets and they do play a high profile team like the Yankees, get the tickets as soon as you can. They sell out quickly. For example, when they played the Yankees last year, I bought them as soon as single game tickets became available. Also, I suggest splurging a bit for field seats. You're closer to the game and plus you're not as near as the drunken hooligans that can start trouble, know what I mean?

Let me put it this was, I live in NY and don't go to see the Yankees here, no way would I go all the way to California to watch them ROFL We're just sorry we won't see the Mets play them in California

We usually like to sit behind home plate up in the nose bleed section at Shea, but I think I might take your advice and go for the better seats in LA

I'm going to pay for this insomnia tomorrow tomorrow when I can't keep my eyes open at 3 pm.

Well, believe it or not, if not the Dodgers then I would have to say the Yankees would be my 2nd favorite team. Ever since the Mets got Piazza(or the Dodgers traded him), I've been bitter ever since! LOL!!! BTW, the Mets are sure opening up their wallets during the off-season. I wonder how they'll do this season! Hmmm....

Which ever seats you choose, you should still have a pretty good time.

Get some sleep! I'm heading to bed because I have to wake up at 4:15 AM...every morning!
