When Do Disney Christmas Decs Usually Go Up?

I'M THINKING OF GETTING MARRIED OCTOBER/NOVEMBER TIME IN FLORIDA TO COMPLETLY AVOID HURRICANE SEASON. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS GO UP AND ALSO WHAT THE WEATHERS LIKE IN FLORIDA OCT/NOV TIME?

You'll have to push it up to December to avoid hurricane season - it runs through November. The weather this month has been beautiful, but in FL, you never know!

My sister's WDW wedding was on 12/3/03, but we arrived the Saturday after Thanksgiving, which was 11/30 and EVERYTHING was decorated.

They start decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving, but I am not sure of the exact date. Last year the Boardwalk was decked out by Nov. 14th, but I don't know the exact date they went up. Try asking over at the Theme Park or the Resort board. Someone over there might know.

ON MY LAST TRIP NOV.9TH 2003 AT AKL THE RESORT WAS DECORATED WHEN WE CHECKED IN AND THE PARKS WERE FESTIVALLLY DECORATED TOO. THE ACTUAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS (MICKEY'S XMAS PARTY/MK, HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD/EP, OSBOURNE XMAS LIGHTS/MGM) NORMALLY DONT START UNTIL AFTER THANKSGIVING WEEK. IN MID NOVEMBER EPCOT IS DECORATED FOR THE FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL AT EPCOT WHICH HAS SAMPLES OF AUTHENTIC FOOD VENFORS AROUND THE LAGOON TOO.

WHEN WE WERE AT WDW NOV 03 THE WEATHER WAS GREAT, IT WAS WARM ENOUGHT TO GO TO THE WATERPARKS & IT WASNT HUMID & HOT LIKE FLORIDA IN AUGUST. AVERAGE ORLANDO WEATHER IN NOVEMBER (PER THE WEATHER CHANNEL.COM) IS 79 DEGREES FOR THE HIGH & 59 DEGREES FOR THE LOW WITH AVERAGE 2.32 MONTHLY RAINFALL. HURRICANE SEASON RUNS MARCH/APRIL - OCTOBER/NOVEMBER.

The resorts are almost now completely decorated. Park decorations will start going up next week. All will be completed by the week of Thanksgiving.

Weather here for the last two weeks has been ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Highs in the upper 70s and crystal clear blue skies.

Hurricane season runs through November 30th, but the chances of a hurricane hitting Florida after Nov. 1st drops dramatically. Then again, you can never count on Mother Nature!
