When do crowds start to pick up for the 4th of July ?

When do the crowds start picking up for the 4th of July holiday at WDW?
Our last day is June 29th and just realized that is close to the 4th.
I can deal with some crowds but just want to know what to expect.

I can deal with some crowds but just want to know what to expect.

Check on a park by park basis but I'd say less than the 4th holiday but more than earlier in June when kids are in school. 7ish average would be an educated guess.

We arrived June 29 last year for a stay through July 6. It honestly didn't feel heavily crowded to us until the morning of July 3 when we went over to get into MK at park opening. June 29, you should be fine. The only time we ever felt crowded June 29 - July 2 was at night at our resort (Poly).

We were there last year from June 26 to July 5 and to us the crowds were fairly low until the 2nd. Not even the tour groups were there. The first group we noticed was on the 4th at AK. There's actually a bit of a lull by summer standards that last week of June.

There's another secret "lull" in summer, but I'm not tellin' when it is!
