When do Cinderella Castle decorations come down?

Just curious to see if anyone knows when the Happiest Celebration on Earth decorations come off of Cinderella Castle? TIA!!

From what I understand, the Happiest Celebration on Earth is an 18 month event. Therefore, I wouldn't think they would come down any sooner than October or November 2006. I hope that helps.

I am actually wondering if they will take the decorations down (I know they did after the 25 Anniversary, but that was different). I really love what they added to the castle - although I am not sure about the BIG mirror. The gold really makes it sparkle and the characters add so much interest.

So, do you think they will take the decorations off when the celebration end (which I believe is October '06)?

As said, they are going to be up for 18 months. They will definately come down after that. I like it now but I like the original as well.

Also I've heard that Disney is researching any possibilities of creating a fiber-optic light system on the exterior of the castle.

I don't like how it is now, so I hope they will be down by next December.

As others have said I like the look of the castle all spruced up for the celebration but think the original unadorned castle is the best [so many memories since first trip in 1972]. The plan from the beginning was to keep it this way for 18 months so my guess is that if these gold accents stay up much longer than that they will start to look worn out and raggedy [is this a word?]. Well if things go according to plan I'll get to see the gold trimmed castle 2 more times before it is gone.
