When Disney changes park hours...

Once upon a time, there were evening Extra Magic Hours scheduled for a park. I have careful notes about the date and the hours, as we plan our trips pretty carefully. We have an ADR booked during those hours.

Recently, Disney cancelled that evening EMH session. It no longer appears on the Park Hours page for our date. However, they did not cancel our dining reservation - it still appears in our My Reservations list. It is within 30 minutes of the new park closing time, but it is definitely AFTER the park is listed as closing.

Has anyone run into this before? Should I expect this reservation to be cancelled by Disney at some point, and work on finding something else now?

Thanks!

I can tell you that it is not unusual to have adrs after or at closing of a park.

I haven't heard of it being 30mins past, but definitely 15mins after.

People eat after closing all the time.

I would ask what restaurant and what park...what day as well? This may be a factor.

It's Animal Kingdom. I think we are going to cancel it and do AK another day of the trip, since the reason we were having dinner there was that the park was scheduled to be open later than it is now.

I did some searching and found that a few months ago, Disney cancelled all evening EMH for AK permanently. So that's why it disappeared from the schedule after I'd seen it and added it to our trip planner to begin with (we plan way ahead to deal with the ADR problem).
