When did your DS and DD stop sharing a bed?

both my children, a boy and girl stopped when they were in their teens if I remember correctly, my son would just pull off the sheets and top cover and sleep with those on the floor. of course I would ask housekeeping for extras....they did not mind, they would just laugh...... kids....LOL

To much is probably made of this issue, but if the kids can sleep next to each other on an airplane, or in the car, why can't they sleep together on a sofa bed?

That being said, an aerobed is a great solution, and works well in DVC 1-BR units.

Our DS kicks a lot so it makes for an unpleasant nights sleep. We carry a blow up bed with us and get extra sheets from Mousekeeping. We have never had any problems. DS doesn't mind sleeping on the air matteras and everyone gets a good nights sleep.

This isn't an issue for me yet (My oldest DD and DS are only 7 and 5, and they still share a bed when we travel) but I thought I would pass along what my cousin does-Her kids (12 and 15, I think) still share a bed, but she gets rooms with king or queen beds if possible, and they usually just stick a pillow or something in between them so they have their own space I guess....

We always used two bedrooms for our family, which meant a seperate bed for everyone, but even then it sometimes is not enough. We found our son out in the living room a couple of mornings, he did not want to be in the same bedroom, never mind the same bed. Our son and daughter never slept together in the same bed. :confused3

Our children get along really well. (DMIL actually commented on it once. :teeth: )

The last WDW (Hotel) trip we went on where our children shared a bed was when they were DS 2 1/2 years and DD 4 years old. We didn't go back until DS was 9 and DD 13 during that trip I shared with DD and DH with DS.

Lucky for us our other vacations all had seperate beds available for them.

This is one of the reasons we bought into DVC. We are really looking forward to the privacy of our own room and the kids each get thier own bed.

If we were in a Studio or 1 Bedroom (pull out) I would invest in the Aero Bed.

Good Luck with that.

I see a few have said no, they wouldn't do it. I am actually surprised you would even be able to contemplate them sharing. Honestly I think my two oldest would kill each other.

I have several aero bed configurations. Usually ds 10 is on a raised twin sized bed and dd if not in a studio with Nana... is on the pullout.

Walmart has some great cheaper options on raised inflatable beds. in fact we just took ours out of the attic for our trip next week. Saves those points!!!!!
