When did you start playing VMK & How did you hear about VMK?

I remember that my mom told me about the game (boy did she regret that) it was before I went to Quebec for my grade 8 trip so Mayish/Junish.

I went down to Disney July 13th and had no idea about vmk lol. I saw vmk images in some people's signature but had no idea what the deal was with them LOL. I have been a Dis member since Early June but had been reading the Dis since last March lol. When we were at Disney we wanted to buy the gold ears. They gave me some card (I thought it was junk lol) I was VERY close to throwing it out but kept it. When we got home I tried it out on the computer lol. This was July 22nd (don't ask how I remember dates like that! rofl) it was a code for vmk and now I am hooked rofl. I just wish I had known about it before I went down to WDW!!! LOL

I was just flipping through the Disney catalog when I came across an ad for VMK. My first thought was "Oh, that looks cool, I'll try it sometime," before promptly forgetting all about it. Two weeks later I was bored and was going through the same catalog and saw it again, my thoughts being something along the lines of "Oh yeah, I remember this. It's Disney, it should be good, I'll try it." Went on my laptop once and was hooked for life . I actually don't remember when I started; just sometime before Christmas.

I was actually browsing this forum and I saw a post about cool disney things and a cast member posted about the new virtual magic kingdom. I went to the site and signed up, but I couldn't figure out how to log on... turns out it was closed. The next day I got on and I noticed I was guest... a couple of days later I was Purple Monkey, then it got changed to PurpleMonkey (minused the space). It was so fun in beta days...

My reason is so sad. I joined the DIS in late July. I think I saw a post for a tag and then saw mention of VMK and the sparkly sig on the teen board. So I joined VMK for the Sparkly sig. rofl. I am so pathetic.

I actually joined in October right around Halloween which was awesome...cause of the costumes. My sister...wishingblues...told me about it. I remember seeing it though on Neopets. Yeah that was my addiction before vmk. I loved playing the games on there. BUT now...I am addicted. Yeah I said it...isn't the first step admitting it right

I found out about vmk here. I saw it in several people's signatures and saw this forum for it. I found DIS on September 5, 2005 and discovered vmk less than 10 days later. I've been hooked ever since.

My sister found out about VMK from one of her friends and showed me the site.I went on it and made a new name and didnt become too interested..

I thought that that cool looking game called toontown looked awesome.So i went there and found out that the way to have real fun was to pay.Next thing i did was go back on VMK and leave toontown alone.

Now I go on VMK more than my sister and Me and my other sister(the little one) are hooked on VMK.Now the only time i go on toontown is when I win a PDF from a vmk game.

Well.. ok my friend kept telling me about this site that she loved. At first she told me about it and then i always said i didn't have time to go to the site. But then she told me it was about disney and of course i went straight to that site I am so happy she told me about it sadly she can not play it anymore because the computer she was using was for her dad's work and it wont work on her normal computer

MousseDude told us about this in June, but I did not start playing until July. Once I tried the fireworks game, I was hooked! So you now know where to find me! I have met so many wonderful people in this game and lots of laughs are shared on a daily basis. Love all my DIS friends!

i didn't know anything about it till i went to disney world last year.my mom and i played runescape for awhile but later decided we didnt like it. however we love multiplayer games and getting new friends. so one day we were in Downtown disney and my dad gave me tis paper with a code and vmk. when we came back we tried it at a library and now are forever hooked!
