out your newsletter?? Just wondering how far in advance you sent it out?

Hey Tricia!
We sent out a newsletter Sept. 1 to just get everyone on the same page and now are intending to send another newsletter out before Christmas. The one we are sending out before Christmas will double as a newsletter for wedding info and just to catch everyone up to speed w/ our progress over the fall semester (since DF and I both are graduating in 2 WEEKS!!!) Then I'm hoping to send another one out in the Spring. I'm sure that's way overachieving but I know our guests really enjoy to hear the updates!

Tricia, we are getting married at the end of May, and we sent our first newsletter out at the begining of November. We wanted to get them out a bit sooner, but just didn't get our act together fast enough

I'm sending ours out at the beginning of next year. Our wedding is in December (contract sent back today - YAY) but all our guests, excpet one, are from the UK. I've got info about good sites for flights, hotels etc so want to give plenty of notice.

Also, we have more people that haven't been to Orlando and Disney than have so they need a bit more time.

I only sent one newsletter, and that was about 2 weeks before the wedding. It had all the important transportation details. I thought that if I sent them any sooner, people would lose them.

However, I sent 2 emails in the 5 months leading up to our wedding - those had tips about getting cheap airfare and the basics of planning a WDW vacation.

I sent out 1 newsletter and that was about a week ago so 2 weeks before our wedding.

Thanks guys!! I just wasn't sure when to really send it. I think I'll do one right after the holidays on basic info and such and then another a month or so before outlining the schedules and such!
