In 7th grade DD could wear light eyeshadow, mascara(has long pretty lashes and does not use much, if any), blush, and a little lip color.
She is in 9th grade now and has never worn foundation. Does not need it. She is blessed with beautiful even toned porcelain skin and it does not break out. She gets a lot of comments on her pretty skin, so no need for foundation yet. She does have some matte compact powder should she get shiny.

I am so against sharing make up even with my own child. In her stocking that Christmas she had brown mascara and face powder. She didn't wear it every day but it did give her something when she wanted to. She is 15 now and wears makeup about 3-4 days/week. Some days she just doesn't feel like it.

It's never even come up with my mom so I'm not sure when I would've been allowed to wear it.
