I had made almost all of our ADR's at the 180 mark but was waiting for airfare to pick our lunch time at Yak & Yeti since my mom is flying in with the older boys that day. I was surprised to see there was no availability as I didn't think it was a hugely popular place. In fact one year we happened to just walk in and eat.:confused3 Any chance of walk ups my mom really wanted to eat here?

Yak & Yeti is a Landry's restaurant. Their other venues at DW (Rainforest and T-rex) accept reservations if you call the restaurant directly because they only release a portion of their tables to the Disney res system. I'm not certain, but maybe Y&Y does the same.

You could also sign up for the Landry's Select program. It costs $25, but if you're paying OOP you'll get a credit for that amount at the restaurant. Among the perks is priority seating if you walk up.

We have one of those cards from our T-Rex here in KC will that one work there?
