When did/will you start shopping for baby?

For us not until we hit 20 weeks, and even then they could not tell us the gender so we didn't do any shopping really till she was born.

I'm from the north east, and we've (general circle of people I know) always had showers for each.

I grew up in a religious Italian family in Jersey and my family thought it blasphemous to have a shower after the first one.The same thing was true of 2nd marriages

I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks before we left for a Disney trip! I did not know the gender yet, but I did do some MAJOR WDW shopping for baby stuff! Just go gender nuetral! You might have fun shopping for really cute maternity clothes now The PP's are right about bottles, pacifiers, etc. Of course, now is a great time to look for and stock up on good deals on diapers!
