When did they start decorating for Christmas at the resorts?

We are planning a Disney wedding next November 10. I love the way Disney decorates for Christmas but I do not know if we want everything decorated for our wedding. We were there Thanksgiving week and everything was fully decorated. Does anyone have any ideas on when they started decorating the resorts this past year. Thanksgiving was really early this year so they might have started things earlier because of this. The first MVMCP was November 12 this year.

We were at OKW right after Thanksgiving this year and they were still decorating when we left that Sunday.

We also visited SSR, WL and Boardwalk. They were "more" decorated than OKW was.

Thanks, we will be using The Boardwalk, Port Orleans French Quarter and All Star Movies. Our ceremony will be in Epcot. This will be the day after the last day of the Food and Wine Festival so it might still be decorated for that.

1) The resort schedule varies
2) This year
. . . they started as early as Nov-5th
. . . most were done by Nov-16th
3) Based upon availability of manpower, this can change.
4) Last year (2006),
. . . there was VERY LITTLE left to be done after Thanksgiving Day
. . . they started on Nov-6th with resort decorations
. . . it seemed like things went quicker than this year

We are going to WDW, staying at POFQ from 12/2 - 12/9 (of 2008). We are fairly confident that all/most of the decorating will be done by then. Its just a shame that we won't be staying at one of the delux resorts, because what they do for Christmas is just amazing. If you can, try to catch the Disney World Christmas Special on Food Network.

We are using those three resorts for our room block (so our guests get a discount). We have timeshare and are planning on staying on The Boardwalk. Our reception is in Atlantic Dance Hall so staying at the Boardwalk will be perfect for this. I love to visit all the different resorts to see their holiday decorations and I don't think any of my friends or family have ever been there this time of year so if they are decorated I am sure they will enjoy this.

I keep missing the new Samatha Brown Christmas Special on the Travel Channel. It was supposed to be on last night at 11:00pm and I set my machine up to tape it and it was a different show about Christmas. Hopefully I will catch sometime within the next few days.
