When did intimate price go up?

My EM quoted me $2450 for 2006 just a few weeks ago, but I notice it's now $3200 on the wishbook. This is for a yacht club wedding.
Is this right?? They never told me it had changed!

I think i remember a post a while ago from someone saying that the price was going up and that there were going to be some other changes to the package for 2006.

I noticed that as well. For Sunset Pointe, the price is $2450, but it is $3200 for the other outdoor locations. I thought that they might have made a mistake on the wishbook. When the lowered the price for 2006 (since hotel is not included anymore), they might have only edited for sunset pointe and forgotten to edit the other outdoor ceremony spots. It is just a thought...but definitely talk to your EM. Have you decided on your reception location? I called Fultons in DTD and they have a really nice private room on the top deck with a balcony. You could still wear your dress...just a thought. Good luck!

That seems a bit much- I too think that maybe they forgot to edit somethings. We have been planning our wedding at the Wedding Pavillion, and the cost for that site is $3,350.00, You may want to check with your EM about it and make sure that the price is correct.

Yes, I was told by DFTW that as they get their pricing and stuff in that they will keep updating their website, and if there is any questions that I should call them. I have called them several times on things and questions and the people who answer the phones are nothing but pleasant and helpful, if it is something that they can't answer, they will have a EM call you back and they can go more in depth in answering any questions.

If any contracts have been signed, they will honor your pricing so try not to fret too much.

I have noticed with the wishbook it states that $3200 includes a 4 night stay at a moderate resort. So maybe they are in the process of changing it.

My EM told me they would be updating the wishbook towards the end of the year!

I called last week with the same question. I specifically asked them about the wishbook prices. It seems they are in the process of changing the wishbook prices to reflect the new pricing structure. It is supposed to be $2450 for the outdoor locations and higher for the WP with no park entrance and lodging.

They did update the procedures/policies section too. It states there that you have to contact FTWD to secure the date and location one year prior to your wedding. Then you have three days to contact lodging and provide a confirmation number of your room night stay. Otherwise your wedding space will be cancelled.

Slowly but surely we will all get this figured out, huh? Thank goodness for the DISers to keep everyone up to speed!

The wishbook on the Disney website has been updated. The 2006 price for an intimate wedding is $2450 (or $3350 for WP). I can't wait until it is my turn to reserve...366 days to go! =)
