When DH is sick

I don't know why men are like that. I only know that when I am sick, I still have to pretty much do the same stuff I do when I am well, other than maybe going to work so I don't give my sickness to the already-sick people in the hospital.

The world grinds to a screeching halt when the man is sick though!!!!

Does it drive anyone else crazy when their husband is sick? How can a grown man act like my three year old son?

Because WE WANT OUR MOMMA !!!!!

When my exhusband would be sick he would act like he is the only human being who has ever been sick.. It would drive me nuts.. He would think he was dying when he had a cold..

One time he was acting like that and I thought it was his normal cry wolf act and I refused to baby him.. About 3 days later he was still doing it, so my mom came over and took him to the er.. He had pneumonia and was hospitalized for a week.. Ok I felt bad, but I still refused to baby him after that..

my husband refuses to admit he's sick. When he finally realizes it, he pulls into his cave and wants no audience. I quietly keep him supplied with whatever he might need, that's it. No whining. It's great!!!

I feel so bad, yesterday morning I woke up to go to work (5a.m.) and heard dh and a few of his friends still downstairs from new years eve. I can hear dh say his ankle hurts so I walked downstairs laughed at him told him to get up and get to bed. When I came home from work he was laying on the couch His foot is huge and purple. I am guessing it is broke. He is going to the hospital today. I thaught he was overreacting like he usually does. I feel so horrible, but hopefully this will teach him to stop overreacting when it is minor.

When I was married, it was like having an extra child around - a hypochondriac one. A headache made him think he had a brain tumor, indigestion made him think of a heart attack, and the sniffles sent him racing to the doctor even though we couldn't afford for me to go for a pap smear for 5 years. Thank goodness he is someone else's problem now
