when day does 7 month booking begin?

My wife and I own at SSR and are wanting to make a reservation for Dec. 14th-19th and are wanting to at least try for Animal Kingdom or Boardwalk Standard. (doubt we’ll get it but I guess it’s worth a shot?).



The question is… when is the earliest I can call DVC member services to make our reservation? May 19th or May 20th? Also, what time do they open to accept calls?

If you are checking out on Dec. 19 for your original ressie, you will be able to call May 19th to try for a 7 month ressie for the whole thing. You could try day by day booking on the 15th, but then you risk not getting the whole thing and having to switch resorts back and forth.

We have decided to do something similar for January. We have a booking, but will try to switch resorts in June. We decided not to do day by day and will take our chances with the whole thing at once. That way we wont be stuck switching resorts back and forth if we can't get a few days in the middle.
