When Christmas day is the only port day?

Going on the 12/23/22 4-night out of Galveston. Christmas day is Cozumel. I want to take my daughter snorkeling but I don't want us to miss any Christmas activities. How do things work when Christmas day is a port day? For example, is Santa out early before excursions set out? What about the cookie buffet? Is it all day?
