Does anyone know when the schedule for the Food and Wine Festival dining events will be published and when the first day to make reservations is? Last year I heard many events were booked on the first day they were offered (even within hours of becoming available), and I want to try and reserve one this year. Thanks!

Hi there! I cannot help you with the answer to this, but I will bump this up for those that might know!! :)

I've been watching for the dates also. Last year I think they came out sometime in July and the only reason I knew was from watching these boards. I think in July I'll start calling MS and hopefully be able to find out something.

Just curious...I have been trying to find that info for a while now, since our November plans were firm and I hadn't been able to find any info on it at all, other than the DDE members usually get advanced notice of it.

Last year, they started taking ressies on Monday, July 15. Reservation for the big dinners sold out almost immediately. And you have to pay in full when you book. My best guess would be to start calling Monday July 14, the closest Monday to last year's date. Good luck!

Thanks, I'll mark my calendar now! :D :bounce: :bounce:

What kind of dinners are offered? We are arriving on Nov 15th and I think the 15 and 16 are the last days of the festival. I thought there were booths for tasting around the countries in EPCOT. Tell me more please!:) and Thank-you.:)

Any info on what will be offered would be greatly appreciated. I haven't had too much luck on getting all of the details of the event besides the basics. I would love more info on the dinners and seminars. Thanks!

They have not been announced yet but are supposed to be comparable to last year's events.

There is a full listing of last year's events on www.wdwig.com somewhere.

I have last year's booklet of daily schedules which is the info about the free seminars. Each day they schedule around 13-15 free 30-45 minute wine seminars and culinary demonstrations, either at the Odyssey restaurant or at the Terrace setup at World Showcase. They are first come, first seated, and they do fill up, so get the schedule from the main event booth or one of the food booths (they had them all over the place) first thing when you get to Epcot and plan which seminars you want to attend, especially on weekends. You do get to taste wine and try the food.

There's also the Sam Adams beer seminar with tastings at American Adventure. They have sessions all day long.
