When can you get off the boat?

As soon as all the paperwork's taken care of (including documentation for local immigration officials). Sometimes they'll let people off the ship before the posted all-aboard time. Sometimes it's 30-45 minutes later than the posted time. The posted time is just an estimate.

Seriously, how long can you stay on the boat upon arrival back at Pt. Canaveral? What is the absolute latest time to disembark?

If the ship gets into Port Canaveral on time, I think that everyone must be off by 9:00 am. Again, it is up to immigration and customs as to when the ship is "cleared," but 9:00am is probably a pretty safe bet.

Remember, they have from then until about 12:15 to get the ship ready for the next cruise.

What is the disembarkation process like? Is it possible to be one of the first ones off? On another cruise line they called us to disembark in groups, based on room numbers. Is it just a free for all once paperwork is done?

I can only offer what our disembarkation was like (not sure how *early* anyone got off, we like to stay as LONG as possible!!).

We had late seating so went to Lumiere's breakfast at 815am, and noticed all the early seating people lined up to disembark at that time (I'm guessing that line began at 8am or so).

We finished our breakfast by 845am and headed for the "gangway" area just as they announced that it was time for all of us late seaters to go. We were just lucky to be ahead of the crowd and walked right over to our luggage (blue Donald Duck area). A porter helped us load it up to go through customs (half a minute) and out to the parking lot we went, to catch our Avis shuttle. We were in the shuttle van and leaving the terminal area by 9am, that's how fast it all was.

Northsouth, Thats what I like to hear. Have an early flight and have to leave the ship ASAP.

Do you know if you use Disney Transportaion to the airport and you tell them your flight times they will get you out earlier? Just wondering (didn't book air travel thru Disney though)

We just disembarked from the Disney Magic on 2-23.
I was amazed at how simple the process was (having been through a painful drill 11 other times getting off other ships).
I had read that they kick you off the ship by 9. I arranged to meet our new friends that we going back to MCO with at 8:30.
You are supposed to be out of your cabins by 8am.
Well, at 8:05 an announcement was made that the ship was cleared and you were free to disembark. We were still in the cabin!
When we met our friends, we simply walked off the ship. No lines, no waiting for colors of luggage tags to be called.
(Now, I can't tell you what it was like around Deck 3 at 7:45, however, if you have plans to go to a park for the day, I would be ready to exit by then. You may get lucky!)
