When can you enter the MK for MNSSHP?

If I don't have admission to the park for the day, but have a ticket to MNSSHP, when can I enter the park?

I wouldn't exactly call it unofficial.

The following is from the Disney Parks Blog (which is about as official as you can get):

Party fun takes place from 7 p.m.-midnight, although party ticket holders may enter the park as early as 4 p.m. to enjoy regular park offerings.

Also, DVC members can enter as early as 2pm, based on the following from the DVC site:

Early Entry to the Park
When attending this event, Members and their guests can enter Magic Kingdom park as early as 2:00 PM!

I would try to be there a bit before 4 pm because sometimes they start letting people in around 345...that does vary

I don't think they were letting anyone in until exactly 4 pm last Tuesday when we were there. We had dining reservations for 4:05 so entered the park a little before 4 pm, went over to get our wristbands and they were holding people in line. We were walking away towards the restaurant before they started letting people in. That said, you might want to get there before 4 pm because there was a fairly long line starting.

If you get there at 2pm for the DVC entry, will you be able to take all of the pictures with the props as you go in? I seem to remember 2 years ago going down a little path where there were all kinds of fun Photopass opportunities with frames and signs you could hold. Also, what about the special shots at the start of Main Street?

We have a Fast Pass for 3pm but I would love to get the pictures first before we all start looking like we are melting in our costumes!
