When can we book?

My step son just announced his engagement and they will be getting married at WDW Grand Floridian. We went on the reservation site but it says we can not book yet The wedding is is Feb (Presidents week)
anyone know when the reservations for that time become available?

I don't know if it will work but I would suggest calling WDW directly. Congratulations to your step son and good for them to book such a wonderful spot for the wedding!

Definitely, call WDW directly. They should be able to book you in at existing pricing and then when the 2013 pricing comes out they will adjust accordingly.

Yes if you call WDW directly you can book up to 500 days in advance of your desired check out date ... as you can clearly see we are booked for 400+ days out from now ... lol

Just wanted to add to the PPs. When you call now to book for next year you can only get a room-only reservation. No tickets or dining plan- that would make it a vacation package. Since next year's room rates have not yet been announced, they will charge you the highest room rate for this year. Try not to faint. It will be high if you are booking the GF. The balance will be due when you check into the resort.

When the new rates are announced your balance will be readjusted accordingly. You will want to keep a close eye out on special rates and other discounts that can be applied to your stay.

If you have never been to WDW before, or stayed onsite, you may want to consider having a Travel Agent who specializes in WDW handle all of this for you. Please note the emphaisis on the word specializes. It's an important distinction since WDW vacation planning can be quite complicated for the uninitiated.

I hope this turns into a fabulous time for all of you. Our daughter was married at the Polynesian resort a few years ago and it remains one of our fondest memories.

thanks everyone. We are going to call and see what can get. it will be a very quick trip and back. We are going to the fort at Christmas for 7 days. This wedding announcement came 5 months after we had booked wdw at Christmas. Not even sure if we will stay on-site
