When can I start to use my dining plan?

We are doing a 5 night/6 day package arriving on 9/23/10. Our flight does not get in until late afternoon on the 23rd so we are only doing a 5 day parkhopper. My question is, when can we start using our dining plan, is it on the 23rd or not until the 24th since this will the first day that we will actually visit the parks? I was thinking of planning on doing Chef Mickey’s on the night we arrive, but wasn’t sure if we would be able to?

Your credits are available to you from the moment you check in until the midnight following your check-out. Use them any time you want within that window.

Other than the requirement to purchase park tickets as part of a "package" to get the dining plan, and the need to have park tickets to access in-park restaurants, your park tickets are completely irrelevant to the dining plan.
