Flight arrives 10:35 AM @ LAX, Karmel Shuttling to Anaheim --> checking into Homewood Suites Convention Center and heading to the parks....

Assuming all is well and flight arrives on time, traffic is normal for that time of day, any ideas when we could reasonably expect to get to the parks?

Where are your seats? When does the shuttle leave? For example, back of plane, you will step off the plane around 11:00, get luggage by 11:30. Assuming the shuttle leaves as soon as you get to the curb, 12:30 to Anaheim, get to hotel by 12:45, checkin by 1, room isn't ready yet so they have yo get Bellboy to get your bags around 1:20, use the restroom, leave hotel around 1:30, at the gate around 1:50

I can't answer on the flight to hotel part, but from the hotel lobby to the IAJ entrance it was 30 minutes. This included walking to the Toy Story shuttle, riding it to the parks, security, and exchanging our 6 print-out tickets for real tickets and taking all our pictures at the gate.

Depending on the runway and arrival gate you could still be taxiing at 11am.

We are flying in Wednesday (8/2)...our flight gets in at 9:30 am, no checked bags, everyone has a single carry-on.
Renting a car, I plan on being in the parks at 11am...I will let you know!! It's vacation, no time for tedious time delays :)

Just to be clear- you are flying into LAX right? Well, FWIW car rentals at LAX are off site so you're definitely differing from OP there in what could be a significant delay.

Yes, he has to get a shuttle and likely wait for checked baggage, see no difference in time there, it's pretty much the same. The rental car shuttles are pretty reliable, just walk on and we go straight to our car, no check in...betcha we'll be in the parks at 11am...betcha :) Yes, LAX....challenge commences :)

It's my joy to astound others :) I'm the one who gets an International flight arriving 4 hours before my cruise sails (Barcelona)...many said No Way, it all worked out with 2 hours to spare :) I am Pollyanna to a fault, plus we fly in on a Wednesday morning going away from traffic, believe me, I'm a calculated traveler...:)

Flying in on Friday morning - we will likely be toward the back of the plane - we fly SWA and to sit 6 of us together even with family pre-boarding we are usually mid-way favoring the back half....

When we fly in to John Wayne with only carry on luggage, we get a cab and go straight to our hotel to check in. We are usually in the park within 90 minutes to two hours after touchdown.
Our flight get there around 10 am and we are in the park for an early lunch.

Terminal 1 is farthest from the runways. You will likely still be heading to the gate at 11. If you're also checking bags I wouldn't expect to be off airport property before noon.

My house is a 45-minute drive to the parks (if there is no traffic). I find it difficult to drive there, park, go through security and get into the parks in under 90 minutes. I usually hit exactly 90 minutes and that's is if I'm really booking it. I do have a toddler with me but even so.

Yep, I'm the exact same (we must live very near each other) and I plan for 90 minutes in no traffic. And I don't have a toddler.

I have it pretty dialed in and I walk really fast so I don't think my toddler slows me down much. :) It takes just as long to enter the parking structure, park, go through security, get on the tram or walk through DTD, and get through the gate as it does to drive to the parks. And I don't usually go at park opening, either. That would take even longer.

I've started doing Toy Story recently because I'm sick of the hassle of M&F. I always get to park so close to the bus at TS, no elevator and walking across the huge structure. I think it's saving me time.
