When can I get the best car rental rate?

We are probably going to DW in Oct, and I'm not sure when rates begin to drop. Should I reserve a car now for next Oct?

You can always reserve and cancel if needed. I've done this to many times to count. Just keep checking for the low price everyday. Good luck!!

I agree with Disney Chick2: book the cheapest you can find, then keep checking back for better rates -- although I would check once or twice a month instead of daily. Several (most?) car rental companies do not require a deposit with the ressie.

I find Payless isn't just a name, they are usually the cheapest. It is really a no frills, bare bones operation
