When can I call FTW?

If I'm planning a custom wedding for early May, 2007, when is the earliest I can start talking to Disney about things? I know you can't reserve an actual date until a year to eight months prior... TIA

from what i remember, you can talk to disney about planning your wedding a year to the day you want to get married. then the ball starts to roll from there.

The above poster (with the most adorable cats!) is correct. BUT, I have heard some of the girls mention that they called like a year and a few weeks out so that they were, "On the books," for the date and time that they wanted.

You won't actually start talking to your event manager until after you sign and return the contract with your deposit. It's usually about the 8 month mark for that.

No but you can talk to a sales manager if you have any questions or if you want to do a site visit before the 1 year mark! I did my site visit about 15months out and sorted out a lot of details about the reception - ie table styles and entertainment! They also put you name on the calender and then let you know if anyone else comes up for your slot!
