When can I book...

We went this past October for Halloween and had such a great time we want to go back. We are even dragging along the inlaws (who do not travel).
How far out can I book for next January 2005?

I booked our upcoming Feb. trip in June 2002 and as soon as we get back I'm booking our 25th anniversary trip in Nov 2006. You may have to book over the phone as internet resies may not allow booking for 2005 yet. You can only book a room though not a package but you can add the package later.

I've booked with Dreams Unlimited Travel Company for as far in advance as 2006. The catch is however, I emailed my agent from my last trip with the dates I wanted to travel in 2006 and she sent me back the info. On the Dreams site itself you can only book from now til December of this year. I've heard of many who have booked their trips as far as 10 years out....WOW!!

what about discounts?
If we book now for November of this year and use our AAA discount and a better discount comes up later can we change it to that discount? We are looking to stay at the Poly or CR but we want to get the best deal we can.

I have done this several times - book a room only (not a package) with AAA discount, then if a better discount code comes out, I call and just apply the code to my existing reservation. You need to do this quickly when a code comes out, because there are a limited number of rooms available at the discount.

If you book a complete package (not room only), I think it works a little differently, so I can't help with that.
