When can I book?

I have points coming in August, can I book an August trip now or do I have to wait till they are availible? I know I should know this by now.

You can book whenever, as long as the points are there when you take the vacation of course 11 months out for home resorts and 7 months out for nonhome resorts.

You could have booked your home resort last Sept for this Aug. Or you could have booked another resort instead of your home resort in January for this Aug.

i'm guessing that means you have an august UY. use year month has nothing to do with when you can call to book. if you look online, you will see that even your 2013 pts are already loaded in your account.

as others have said, your booking window depends on your home resort. you can book 11 months out at your home resort.

an august 2011 stay is in your 2011 UY which runs from aug 1, 2011 to july 31, 2012. if you booked your home resort for august 2011 by calling in sept 2010, you could have booked that stay using current 2011 pts (even if you called in 2010), banked 2010 pts (if there were any) and borrowed 2012 pts (again, even if you were calling in sept 2010.)
