When can I book my package?

We want to visit the world January next year

I want to go to the resort for where we want to stay, select the dates, room and then go through to add tickets / extras / etc.

However, it wont allow me to click past December 2014?

I could have sworn you could at least book your room & tickets a year in advance but we're down to 10 months and its still not available.


PS: sorry, i was going to put this in the resort section but its kind of the whole "magic your way" package confusion so not sure where this question belongs

The room rates for 2015 haven't come out yet. The usually come out around July. You can book a room only now for January 2015, but you will have to call to do that. You will be charged the highest one night rate from this year and that will be adjusted once the 2015 rates come out. Then you can buy tickets separately and link them to your MDE account.

Wow, that kind of surprised me given I'm meant to have all my dining & recreational reservations made in July also!

Was hoping I would have had my "magic your way package" locked away well before that so I could have my reservation number when making all the other bookings that need to be locked in (in July) >.<

I know the whole making the entire 10 days of reservations up-front on the 180 day mark needs your resort reservation number.

Thought I was stressed about this before but not being able to book a package till the same month, or possibly after, the dining reservation window opens, has me freaking out!

You can call and book your room now. You just can't book it online. I want to say you can do this up to 499 days out. I think they will charge you the highest current room rate for the deposit, though, but not sure. Just call and they can do it for you.

We were in your same situation for our visit in 2013. We booked a room-only reservation through our AAA travel agent in April 2012. She sent us our reservation number so that I could make my ADRs on our 180-day window, which was sometime in July. They released their discounts sometime in August and she just applied those discounts to our reservation, so no new number was needed. Hope that helps!

Oh my gosh everyone thank you so much!!!

Room only reservation over the phone it is

I must say I got a little bogged down with some of the worries and concerns everyone has, I understand the frustration but was struggling a bit back then to find the silver lining.

I must say after calling them to make the room only booking I'm feeling so much better, also been reading some of the positive threads coming through, and now its starting to feel as exciting as it did before!!!
