You can call and book now, your cost will be the highest 2017 rate for your resort. Once the 2018 dates come out, your price should automatically drop.

I've already booked for May 2018. Easy to do by phone.

You can book "room only" now, and the rest of your trip when the packages come out for 2018 (usually in the summer). You or a travel agent will have to call Disney, it can't be done online until packages are released.

I booked last week for the end of January/beginning of February. I was given my rate and was told it was locked in and wouldn't change (unless I added a discount later). This was for Beach Club Villas and she said those had just opened up in their system the day before so maybe the 2018 rates are now in?

I just booked room only for next April direct with Disney. She said the packages are supposed to be available to book in June.
