Did they make any changes. Like, do the space guns come out of a holder like they do at Disneyland? or still attached ?

Nope still attached a few less broken cars and some new paint and lights .

Thats about it but a great ride as I beat DD everytime

darn it! I have seen clips on the Disney Channel of the Buzz Ride in DL and was hoping WDW would have done the same. You are right though, it still is a great ride!

I wish the guns would come out of the holsters, like in California...it would make the ride more fun because it would be more maneuverable. Also, when getting into the carts, look for the "newer" guns. the ones that are the same color, my uncle said they are updated guns and are more accuarate and with the new guns you can see the laser better than the older guns.

I know at some point there was talk of making the game interactive on the internet. Any idea if that was just a rumor ?

The painted the cars and the ride, but they didn't "fix" the cars. If you see a car covered, it more than likely happened that day and is just a gun error, which is easily fixed.

The real reason it was down as long as it was, is because it got new consoles and a ride system. It's changes are more drastic to CM's than to guests...
