When brokers charge for name changes/cancellations/etc, how much of it does the owner get?

Saw on a recent FB post that a renter could no longer go and that the broker (wasn't named) would allow them to re-rent the reservation but they would have to pay a $200 fee to completely change the reservation to a new renter. Based on the post it sounded like the original renter was doing all the work in finding a new renter. Thought that was a little excessive and it got me thinking when brokers charge these kinds of fees (I've heard of $50 charges for adding/removing guests in the past), does the owner get all of that or is the broker keeping some of the fee?

I think one would have to review the contracts individual rental brokers use to know how much goes to the owner. For years, this option did not even exist so honestly, even at $200, it could be a bargain.

My guess, though, is that it is the $50 that we have typically seen.

I think the two big rental companies have sample contracts on their websites.
