When at WDW, what do YOU consider a REASONABLE time in line for rides?

I get extremely frustrated if I have to wait more than 15 - 20 minutes. I guess that is one reason I am not really a fan of WDW, or most big theme parks.

yep 15-20 min is about right, but I love to look at sexy women in line

10-15 minutes is our usual limit and as we always travel Sep/Oct that's usually no problem. Clever use of FastPass, anticyclic strategy and -if necessary- park hopping help us to stay within that limit.

Most of the time it is 15 minutes and less. I did EE a few days back, regular line, mid morning, it was about 30 minutes, but a brand new attraction. If you subscribe to TGM, and follow his recommended parks for what days, you will be where the crowds are not, regardless the season.

Less than 30 minutes. Any more we will flat out not do it.

Of course on some attractions the last thing you should want to do is go right through. Some of the better stuff to see is in the queue.

Really? I would never have guessed. :teeth:

I guess we cut it off at 30min for a stand-by line. But we fastpass as much as possible.

That's pretty much the way I see it.

Same as Dan for times.

Dan was TGM worth it for you. We do really good at the Parks was there new info that would make it worth me using TGM? We leave in 18 days is it too late?

Anything over 20 minutes and we say, "We'll catch it on the next trip." To me, that is the advantage of living 2 hours away from WDW.

I think that if you stand in lines longer than that, it generally leads to cranky behavior by everyone in your party. ::yes::

Especially me......

If you are spending more than 20 in line you do not know what you are doing. The Dis is here to help.

Hmmm, 30 minutes is fine for me.

I'll never forget the year Great America (illinois) got the Batman coaster.
I waited 2.5 hours in the hot hot sun for that stupid ride. :confused3

I don't mind waiting in lines too much (I love to just people watch!) but I would say 30 minutes waiting time for me. Unless it is a new rollercoaster I really want to try. If it wasn't a rollercoaster I would not probably wait more than 15 minutes. I remember the year Oblivion opened at Alton Towers here in England. It was the worlds first dive coaster and I wanted 3 hours to ride it! The ride lasted about 60 seconds!!!!!! I wouldn't care but I have ridden the thing over 100 times now and won't wait more than 10 minutes for it these days!

At WDW though I have never waited more than 15 minutes for an attraction, and we were there over christmas and new year on our last trip!!

Our cutoff is about 20 minutes, one of the things I like about WDW is that it is pretty easy to do and not wait in long lines. We usually go at peak times but with planning and fast pass just don't wait in lines and if we happen to miss something we just figure we'll do it the next time.

I don't like to wait more than 20-30 minutes. I will second Dan's suggestion of TGM, we used it on our last trip and it worked out well. Also since I'm a little OCD when it comes to planning, with all the reading and making the plan according to TGM, it satisfied some kind of sick need there too :thumbsup2

Papa, you don't like WDW. Yet you post like a mad man on a WDW board?

Go figure. :confused3

Except for the Tomorrowland Speedway, we usually won't wait more than half an hour. But my sister gets cranky if she doesn't get to "drive", so we have waited in line for 45 minutes before to ride that. We have found though, that some of the posted wait times are very inaccurate. Buzz Lightyear last April was posted as an hour wait, and we waited in it, because my stepsister wanted to ride it (she's the princess in the family  ) Thankfully we only had to wait 25 minutes
We fastpass as much as possible, get to the parks at opening, etc. We rarely wait more than half an hour, and usually it's more like 15 minutes.

20-25 minutes TOPS. It has to be something I really must ride, or I'll wait till another time. 30+ trips allows one some perspective on waiting in line:earsboy:
