When are you too old to wear a tube top?

Just came home from my nephews' High school Graduation party. I was shocked to see his Grandmother (from his father's side, not my side) wearing a tube top (you know, those strapless type tops) and what looked like black "hot pants". Now this Grandmother is in her late 50's or early 60's. She looked like a fool and everyone from my side of the family just stared at her when she walked in.
This lady was something else. We just lost my father 2 months ago, and she was joking with my Mom about when she will get re-married!

Yep. I believe that each womans body will tell her when it is no longer an option. For me, it was at 21, since that is when I had my first baby. After a visit with a surgeon this summer though, I expect the ban to be lifted (among other things!).

I'm on the small side and I wouldn't dare to put a tube top on! For one, I don't want what I do have squished to any smaller size, and two, I was here when they were in style over 30 years ago and I never want to re-live those days. It's history, leave it in the past! Ewwwwwwwww!

My former mother-in-law dressed in a similar manner... and I think she was a good ten years older.

As with a car, it wasn't just the age... it was also the mileage.

Ewwwww, bad memories... I gave up long ago trying to describe her or her attire. That's why I just began telling people to picture a retired prostitute.

SOOO glad we never see that part of the "family" any more!

Pray to sweet Jesus that it stays up.... but I say, if it slips...well it slips.
I personally think nothing of it when it slips down.. It's nothing no one has seen before.
