We are hoping for Jan or Feb 2013. We plan on combining a little over a week in Hawaii then stopping at Disneyland for 4 or 5 nights before heading back to the East Coast.

We are going June 2012 if we can get reasonable airfare. Right now its about $1,000 from Florida so that's 3 grand for a family of 3. YIKES!

I'm already reading as much as I can about Aulani & making notes for our upcoming trip. The caveat is we're about 4 to 5 years out before we actually set foot on Hawaiian soil. Am I being absolutely ridiculous for starting to plan this far out?

We were originally thinking we'd wait a few years - we have a not yet one year old and a six year old - but now we're actually considering a trip for next summer. I'm afraid we're nuts to be thinking about doing that flight with a then 1.5 year old. (Our 6 year old has flown with us to Europe, so he can manage Hawaii, but I'm definitely worried about the baby.)

We haven't made our mind up for sure, but at the moment, it's looking like Summer 2012.

We just today booked a 1-BR Ocean View for 6 nights starting June 2. Was told that there was "good availability" for these rooms at the time of my call (9 a.m.).

Hey Cruise Buddy!

I am so sorry we will miss each other too! I really am excited for this summer-hope we can get Aulani at 7 months out, too-

Next year (Jersey Week) we are staying at WDW for 10 days (first time EVER staying that long! ) and hoping to get an AKV Jambo GV for a big family trip for part of it. Have a great time on the cruise! We are hoping DCL will come back to NYC either in 2013 or 2014 and we'll sail on her then. Are you going on Magic or Fantasy?

Is this your home resort or did you book at 7 month mark. I tried calling yesterday for June 1 and they told me I could not book until Nov 4.
