So when are you going next & where are you staying??​

Myself, DH my two girls and both sets of grandparents (PRAY FOR ME!!!) have a trip planned 12/9-12/16 of this year and we are all staying at POFQ (wish it was boardwalk, but we figured we could do a lot of shopping with that $500). We are so excited to go, hence the signature, and I can't believe I still have to wait 5+ months!!!

I'm taking my Mom in October. We'll be staying at CSR. I'm really looking forward to it. Mom's had a hard year and I want this trip to be extra special for her. I'm trying to think of some little ways to make it great.

I hope to be going to Disneyland in January for my 25th wedding anniversary..but not sure if we can swing it financially. I'd be nice tho cause I havusually go with my adult daughter and I think a trip with James would be amazing...keep your fingers crossed for me!

We are going Oct 11-17th. It will be our family of 4, my aunt, her son, daughter and son in law. Also a good family friend. We are all staying at Villas at Animal Kingdom.


Our next trip will be Feb 15 - 20th. This trip will be our family of 4. We will also be booking another studio. Our "plan" is to take our surrogate, her partner and their 2 kids.... or whoever she want to take with her. We will use this vacation to let our kids in on the "baby" news. However, she has to get pregnant first..... and so we wait.......
In the meantime we will have reservations for 2 studios regardless!

I am fortunate this year in that I have been once already and get to go back twice before 2008 ends!

The next trip is 09/26 to 09/30 and we are staying at CSR, but I am hoping for a code that will get us a deal at POR.

The trip after that is 12/10 to 12/19 and we are staying at ASMo with Corey's mom. We have two rooms booked. We will be at the MVMCP on 12/14.

I was there May 3-15 solo and had a great time. I don't quite have a plan for the next trip. Money will be tight for a while. I have started going every two years so that would put it in Spring 2010 but that might be delayed.

My partner (fiance?) and I will be there Dec 1 - 7, staying at the Yacht Club.

This will be our second trip to WDW. We went last Dec and had such a great time we decided to go again.

Based exclusively on ConcK's completely UNbiased opinion I have now switched to the Poly Aug. 11-14.

OK, so maybe ConcK wasn't the ONLY reason, but we did switch. The AP rate would come up and then disappear, but I managed to nab it this morning.

So does that mean you will come say hello, ConcK?

I'll be there with my aunt and nephew 9/21-9/28. We are staying at SSR this time. We bought into DVC and will be using our points for the first time. Unfortunately, DP will not be going with-she could not get time off from work in September inasmuch as she already had vacation planned for the High Holidays. That's okay-I am sure we will be going more frequently now that we are DVCers!

By the way, I am a Poly freak!!! They need DVC villas there. That would be AMAZING!

Jealous! I LOVE AKL and that whole quiet area. We may be buying a time share, but it will be in Cabo most likely.

The boyfriend wants to buy in, he started talking to another person in our office that has a DVC, and he got all excited and started doing a lot of research.

It's really going to be his purchase, sure, its something were both taken ownership in, but he's the one actually moving the cash to buy it.

We sat down and ran the numbers, and based on ~200 points, it would take very little time to hit the break even point with annual vacations. We only stay in the Deluxe resorts, so price wise, it is very easy to hit the break even point.

Oh, you will have a blast! I did this earlier this year for the first time. It's not to say that I don't enjoy my partner's company, but there is something really special about doing Disney on your own terms. I wish you lots of pixie dust!

Just wanted to say our June trip was our first DVRers trip! We bought AKV. We went in Feb and decided to buy. Thats how we have managed 3 trips this year! Yipee!
