My sister starts the college program in about a month so I am hoping to make a trip down to WDW to visit her. As of right now, I have a reservation for December, right after Christmas but we might change it (my family has DVC points and between the couple trips my parents have planned to go visit our points are used up!). I want to go at the end of October for a long weekend, which if I do, might be my first solo adventure. We have not made any final decisions yet but if I do end up going I'll post my plans!

I'll be down there that week. Most of the trip I'm playing tour-guide for some friends from up here... as well as the big meet-up we are planning here for the 12th at EPCOT.

I know i'll be hitting up WWOHP as some point during the trip. Kinda hard not too. (and even harder to avoid when you have a AP. )

Oh is there a meet-up? I only saw the Tonga Toast breakfast! I'm so excited to see WWOHP. I haven't been before (I tend to avoid FL in the summer and in Jan I didn't rent a car) so I'm almost as excited to go there as I am to return to the World

2nd Post..... though another idea thats floating around is to exhange cell #'s and meet up during the day as people arrive. Since it's the last weekend of F&W i'm thinking it may take longer than 4hrs to complete the circuit around the World Showcase.

One step closer to my first solo trip! I booked a room yesterday, mostly so I can go visit my sister (she's going to be doing the College Program this fall!!). I'll be there at the end of October.

DBF and I will be there 9/28-10/7 to Celebrate our divorces (not from each other) and WDW's 40th!

Anyone having any meets in that time frame?

I'm probably going to wait until we are a bit closer (say... after my Early October trip) and then start trying to nail down what's happening.... including I guess arranging to make sure everyone who's gonna be there has needed contact info.

Well you would be celebrating divorces... so i'm thinking you could qualify as single (or soon to be single?).

Either way, I don't think the group would be the type to hold not being single against someone. As long as you know how to have fun, and can deal with some rather interesting characters, you should be completely fine.

We will have been seeing each other for 17 months by the time the trip rolls around.

So TECHINCALLY you will be single. You may be in a relationship, but it's still techinically single.



And don't worry... You wouldn't be the only couple in the group. Remember, Single does not automatically mean Solo.

Finally booked my flight for the November trip.

I decided to go ahead and extend the trip the extra day, so I'm now leaving late on the 13th. this means i'll definately be able to attend the festivities at EPCOT on the 12th without needing to worry about being sober enough to drive to the airport.


Now all i'll need to do is figure out where I'm going to stay the last night i'm in town. decisions decisions. (Wish they'd announce AP room discounts for November already....)
