When are you going? Looking for Park Buddies!!!

Hi Gina :welcome: hopefully we find more August travelers!!!

Hi all! I'm gearing up for an end of August trek to the World. This will be first visit since I was a child and my grandparents took my cousin and me for a day. I remember pointing at the big ball thing (Epcot) and asking to go there. My grandparents refused to take us - "it's a fad, it won't last." :lmao:

30+ years later I'm finally going back and will get to see Epcot :cheer2:

On an unrelated note, I've been lurking here for a while and I've learned so much from all of you I'm not sure what I can add to the community that hasn't already been said but I'll try :goodvibes

Hmmm....

I just realized (for some strange reason)... that the November 12th date falls on the last weekend of the Food and Wine Festival. Based off that, I'm seriously thinking I'm going to pass on the whole ADR for lunch idea so that I have room for Booth snacking. :goodvibes:goodvibes

:lmao:

I'll be there November 10 - 16. I have a couple of ADRs set up. Saturday 11/12 at LeCellier at 11:30 AM (Might be changing that to Monday 11/14) for 4 (space for 2 left currently). Sunday 11/13 at 2:00 for 4 at Biergarten, room for 3 currently.

My dad and I will be there September 30th-October 6th. I will be attending my first MNSSHP on the 30th. This is also my first time for Food & Wine Festival. But the real reason we are going is to be in Magic Kingdom on the 1st for the 40th! I would be interested in meeting fellow Dis'ers.

Our dates are almost identical! I'll be rolling solo from September 9th - 16th!

Do I see a Dismeet for Sept??!!?? :cool1:

I'm going solo August 19-21. It's my last weekend as a seasonal passholder (and the first weekend after the summer blackout dates, coincidentally). I'm a cheapskate, so I have to make the most out of this pass despite having a 4.5 hour drive to the parks!

I won't be renewing my pass unfortunately and the only full day I will have is August 20. I haven't been to a park solo before except for 2 hours at EPCOT and I don't typically do things like this on my own. So I'm a little worried about feeling extra lonely flying solo. So if anyone else will be around those days and would like to meetup, just shoot me a message! :thumbsup2

With the October and November trips people are planning mostly falling during Food and Wine, I thought I'd once again pass around this handy little difficulty rating guide for our Drinking Around the World attempts.

Easy mode -- Beer/Wine in every country.
Medium Mode -- Mixing Beer/Wine and Liquor drinks
Hard Mode -- Sticking to just Liquor drinks as you make the circuit.
God Mode -- Food and Wine Festival, including every booth.

:rotfl:

I'll be down 8/19 - 8/28. If anyone is looking to meet up, dance, drink around the world, ride the rides, grab a bite...let me know! :-)

Sweet! There will be a few of us there over that weekend, and I think we are already planning to hang out on the 12th at EPCOT.
