When are the Western Time Changes?

Little Miss Compulsive (that's me) is fine-tuning our Western schedule, and I realized that although the week of 4/26 navs. list the clocks as being moved back on Monday night, they don't list the night they are moved forward. Hubby thinks that they are moved forward the night before Castaway Cay...can anyone confirm that? I sure wish it was the night before so I'd have the sea day to adjust.

oh, oh, oh, I can finally answer a question for you Barb!!!

I read you have to set your clocks/watches back when going to Cozumel (actually when you're leaving Grand Cayman on Tuesday night) and set them forward on Thursday night, I believe that's the day at sea, heading to Castaway Cay on Friday.

I am 99% sure the clocks went forward the night we left Cozumel. You'll have the whole sea day to adjust back.

I am however 100% sure the above is wrong - the clocks go back the sea day night BEFORE Grand Cayman. We're on Central for both GC and Cozumel.

The location (day) where the time changes varies depending on the time of year because Grand Cayman does not observe Daylight Savings Time. But it always changes back on the same location (day) between Cozumel and Castaway Cay.

Mark, you just got off the ship, right?
It used to be the way the others said, but I have been hoping they would change it because it would be so nice to have the sea day to cover. Has it been changed? That would be too good to be true!

Yes, that is the way it is right now, Both Cozumel and Grand Cayman are in the central time zone.

Wasn't aware that GC switched timezones on occasion.

Oh, and go look at your pm's.

Barb, Just got off the ship this morning (had an awesome time!) Clocks are changed back Wednesday night. By the way, Staff Captain Gus has been elevated to Captain starting today for the next 4 weeks.
