We are wanting to know when we should go in October to enjoy the Trick or Treat Parties. We are thinking of arriving October 10th Saturday and staying for 5 or 6 nights.

I'm pretty sure they do them throughout the entire month of October. I don't think they released the exact dates though.

These were the dates last year from the DL website:

General Advance Purchase Price — $29
October 3, 10, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30th.

Halloween Price — $37
October 31 (Halloween Night)

Ages Two and Under: No Charge

Event Times
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday — 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

I went last year on the 3rd. All I can say is buy tickets early! They will sell out. I ended up paying almost triple face value.

yes! Buy early. I really appreciated that they don't sell a ton of tickets, it still felt like the park was empty! So the tickets go fast!

How early can they be purchased?

How does the trick or treat night work (I mean what exactly can you do?), is it just standing in lines for candy all night, or is there entertainment or? And what night is the least busy usually?

They have character stations, wandering villains, candy stops, party stations in different areas, and all the rides are open! There was no lines beyond 10 minutes the night we went, it was amazing. And the party stations have Dj's dancing characters, etc. It was awesome seeing Donald duck in his costume grooving to AC/DC LOL!!!

It's at DCA. Some rides are open, they have meet and greets with some characters, a few craft places and lots of candy. One thing the kids I took really enjoyed was the dancing. They spent most of the night dancing.

Last year I ended up getting there pretty late so I didn't get to see the whole park but there is definitely more to do than trick or treat. Although, that was my favorite part, since I'm an adult and can't get away with trick or treating anywhere else. There is a "cavalcade", music, meet and greets with characters in halloween costumes, special event only decorations, and crafts for kids. I went with my boyfriend for his 24th birthday, and although it took a second for him to loosen up, we had a great time. I definitely plan on going again.

I'm sure I left some stuff out, but it's definitely worth the ticket price. Last year they did a presale for disney visa card holders first then they were released to the general public. Halloween night sold out first, then the rest followed. I believe Sept might be the earliest you can grab some??

Tickets went on sale for AP holders and Visa card owners in May. General sale started August 1.

ok great thanks for all the great info and help! However, how will I know when the tickets go on sale for AP Holders??

The AP holders here will post it. Don't worry, you will know. :)
