I can't find the fireworks schedule on the official site or anywhere else. Are they every night in August? And if so, what time? Is it like "Wishes" in WDW?
They're every night, weather permitting, at 9:25. They do frequently get cancelled due to "winds at higher elevations." S CA is a windy place, and while it may not seem windy where you are standing, 200 feet up, where the fireworks explode, it might be very windy. If you're waiting in the right spot, you can watch them send up big white balloons to check the wind. If they go up straight, great. Sometimes they go up straight, get caught in the wind and go sideways.
No. While "Wishes" is very good, "Remember... Dreams Come True" may just be the best fireworks show EVER.
It was created for the 50th Anniversary and a large part of the show is an audio/pyrotechnic tribute to the rides at Disneyland (even some, like Adventure Thru Inner Space, that are long gone).
I can't watch it without a huge smile on my face -- and tears in my eyes. It is not to be missed!!!
Two of my kids saw the DL fireworks Saturday night, and they sound so cool! The music is the "theme" of many attractions - Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Laughing Place, Star Wars, etc. Then they depict the attraction in fireworks - e.g. during the Haunted Mansion music, they depicted a stretching room.
