When Are Target Toys Going 75% OFF

I am just wondering what you all might have heard for Targets semi annual toy sale. Last year it was around this time I think. Just checking to see if anyone knows anything or if I missed it. Thanks for your help.

Last year it was Thursday January 14th. I know the exact date because I had a baby Jan. 12th. I got released on Jan. 13th. The sale started the 14th so I send DH out to Target to stock up! He bought about $300 in toys and said I could sort through it to pick out what I wanted to keep. I said I wanted to keep all of it.

I went to Target Saturday night. All the signs were still 30%, but many things were marked 50%. I bought my nephew's BD gifts, all at 50%. Does anyone know, if they go to 75% this Thursday, can I go back and get a price adjustment?

There is no price adjustment for clearance. It must go back out onto the floor for the new price to take effect.

Most of the clearance at my Target was 30% off last week. It should drop soon. Although it seems like there was not nearly as much as last year. Hopefully they have more to put out.

I was at our local store last Wednesday and the toys were mostly 30% off. I looked at the Littlest Pet Shop hat box collection, but it was still $20 so I decided not to buy it for my daughter's birthday. The next day we are talking about birthday presents and she said that was the one thing she really wanted. Of course, the next morning, I'm at Target to buy it, guess what... 75% hit the day before. Nothing left.

I mentioned it to another mom at the store, and she said she had called around. All the stores around us already were 75% off, except for one. I raced over there and go the last hat box. (At least it had gone down to 50% there.)

The Targets around me seem to be all doing different things. Two had 75% off, another was still mostly 50% off. I got the strawberry shortcake hat box at one for $7.50, but at another target, the littlest pet shop hat box was just 50% off. I got the imaginext dragon fortress for 50% off, some puzzle/toy sets for 75% off, a lego set at 50% off, and a few other things at 50 and 75%. I'll be going back to the one target that hasn't hit 75% off yet, but if I find something I want at a good price, then I'm going to snatch it up.

You never know what will get marked down. At our Target, I did see some boardgames marked down last week. If my memory is correct, I saw Scene It, Monopoly (can't remember if it is traditional or one of the new versions) and Sort It Out (I think).

I'm betting on Thursday around here. Last week they were marking down to 50% off. It's always been before my son's bday (which happens to be Thursday!). I plan to be there bright and early. Although it does take them a while to manually markdown stuff. Oh, and I wouldn't bother calling, the team members never seem to know the correct info.

This snow is killing me! Last week our Target was at 50% and I bought the Barbie Cruise ship for $20, but they had a bunch, so if it goes down to 75% I will get a new one and take the first one back Now if only the snow would melt so I could get out of my house and check!!!

Our Target today had a variety of markdowns. The sign was up for 30% off, but I found two Baby Alives for 75% off and several other things for 50% off.

Most of the toys are at 50% right now at my Target. Thanks for the scoop. I'll check back Thursday to see if they go to 75%!

I went to 2 Targets near me. One the toys were a mix of 50 and 75 off, the other was 30 and 50! DD got 2 Polly Pocket sets cheap and all the Littlest Pet shop was 75 off (it was tempting but DD has wayyyy too much) at the 1st store. All of the stuff she got was much more at the 2nd store.

In the toy section I did find 2 stocking stuffers 90% off, Polly Pocket and the LPS with the toboggan.

I just called one of our local targets this morning and the girl I spoke to said "It's a mix of 30% to 75%" well that doesn't help me out I want them all to be 75% I think I will still wait for Thursday.

Went to our store on Tuesday, the majority of the stuff was only 30% off. I found 2 things out of the whole section that were 50%. (And the legos were only 15% off) It seems like they started marking things down earlier, but they have stalled...at least in my area.

Just got home from Target. They only gotten 2 endcaps done when I got there so it was PERFECT timing! I was browsing by myself until another lady came up and asked them if they would mind scanning things if she brought it to them. They said not at all! They were SOOOO nice!! My plan of only picking up a couple of things (we have enough toys here) totally didn't work out. I ended up filling up my small basket and had to go trade it in for a cart. Ended up filling it too. In my defense though, I did pick up toys for DD's little brother on her dad's side because her step mom was at work. So a lot was for him. A couple of things will get put in the gift closet. The rest was all mine though. I have no self control. Anyhoo, only 2 things she scanned hadn't went down 75%. By the time I left and hour later a nice crowd had formed in the toy section. If you haven't checked your Target yet, you might want to...just in case! I'm SO glad I went today!

yah, 9 times out of 10, they wont bother to check. your best bet, is to copy a DCPI and know what the 75 price would be. Call and ask what the current price of item # is. if they tell you its 3.74 and you know it was originally 12.99...then there you go.
